Sharing Traces

Share an uploaded trace with anyone in your organization by sending them a link. The link opens the trace in the Zelos App.

Upload a trace

In the app, click Save trace in the timeline and choose Upload. From the command line, run zelos trace upload. An uploaded trace counts against your organization's cloud storage.

After the upload finishes, choose Copy on the "Upload complete" notification. To share a trace you uploaded earlier, copy its link from the Traces list in the console.

Share it

Paste the link into Slack, email, or wherever your team communicates. The link contains no credentials — access is controlled by organization membership, so it is safe to share within your org.

Open the link in your browser and sign in if prompted, then choose Open in Zelos to open the trace in the app. If it doesn't launch, the page offers to download the app.

Who can open it

Only members of the trace's organization can open a shared link. Anyone else sees a "not found" page — the trace name and contents are never exposed outside your org.
