Timeline¶
The Timeline bar in the Zelos App provides an interactive way to select specific time windows, ranges, and move through time-series data efficiently.
Overview¶
The timeline bar offers a visual representation of your data’s time window and time range with interactive controls.
Using the Timeline¶
Adjusting Time Windows¶
Hover over a marker to display a tooltip with the precise timestamp. Click and drag horizontally to reposition the marker.
Dragging Markers:
- Left Marker: Adjusts the start time of your time window.
- Right Marker: Adjusts the end time of your time window.
Moving the Entire Window¶
There are three ways to shift the entire time window along the timeline without changing its size:
Dragging the Highlighted Area¶
Click and drag the highlighted area between the markers to move the entire time window.
Using Navigation Buttons¶
Clicking the left arrow button will moves the time window to the left, and clicking right will move the time window right.
Using Keyboard Shortcuts¶
You can use the following keys on your keyboard to shift the windows left/right:
- Left Arrow Key: Move the time window to the left.
- Right Arrow Key: Move the time window to the right.
Controlling Live Data Playback¶
In Live Mode, you can control the playback of live data.
There are two ways to toggle live data streaming:
- Click the play/pause button
- Using the spacebar keyboard shortcut
When you are live, a pulsating indicator will appear on the right end of the timeline.
